I am a stay-at-home-dad of two, soon to be three under the age of two.
Deep down, I desire to help individuals and groups who are focused on providing value to the world. Each time an organization makes a trade, the world is changed. I sum up my desire like this:
Support Private Solutions to Public Problems
The more I can help organizations make trades the better the world will be.
At the same time, I am limited as all stay at home parents are. A Stay-At-Home-Dad or Mom is on call 24/7 and there are periods of time when you must throw all plans out the window to take care of children.
Connecting – Build Relationships
I will have more freedom in the future. All the children will be able to feed themselves, and fully communicate their needs. Blocks of time will be occupied with school and other activities.
One thing I can do now is build relationships.
This will help no matter what business I am involved with in the future & so I am looking for good people who want to solve problems; as individuals or groups but not as a government body.
Connection Strategy
My personal hub (here) is my primary focus. Other social media networks and sites are secondary. I really believe what I wrote in Facebook Down? Now What? you need to diversify beyond Facebook, Twitter, Google+, Linkedin or any other individual network … that you don’t own.
Building Support
Over time, through AllyNation, I will do stuff to help people provide great value to others. It might be through our own brands like Stay At Home CEO , or through mentoring/coaching/advising clients or through other products/services we develop.
