This morning my friend Cliff Ravenscraft asked me if I could be a part of a show today. Cliff spends most of his Thursday recording multiple podcasts live at GSPN.tv/live.
The show is titled The Community Voice, a show he had not done in a while.
The general idea is to introduce people who are fans, or community members of GSPN to each other.
During the episode we talked about some of my interests, including building the dreams of others & video games and my family, both current and leading to the point of the birth of our girls.
The most interesting part for me is seeing how Cliff thinks of me, and thought of me when we first meet a number of years ago at PodcampNashville 2008.

Cube #2 – what a billionaire told Dave Ramsey
In this episode of Starting Cube, I recall a story I saw Dave Ramsey present about a year ago.
Dave tells of a lesson that was taught to him by a Billionaire about how to amass enough wealth to reach that level. He illustrated it by emphasizing a fable that I read during the episode.
The story helps me remember to take care of myself and not to act based on urgency. The world will not end if I don’t finish everything today, or before a self-imposed & artificial deadline, but I do need to make progress on a regular basis.

Cube #3 – the egg plant at EconTalk
This episode has been my favorite so far for many reasons:
- now have intro/outro music
- get to intro due to people on my favorite podcast – EconTalk
- the new logos are settled upon
- looking for reaction
Where in previous episodes there was really just one thought (or maybe two) this one is much more wide open since it includes a clip from a show that goes a couple minutes.

This gets me thinking about how I spend my time. One of the powerful statements in the episode is that the highest paid people at these companies are those who develop systems, processes & generally empower others to generate the regular, consistent results.
I know I need to spend more time generating systems and processes that will help achieve my goals.
